Gray rEynoldsI am a queer and disabled musician and artist who grew up in the Michigan folk music community. I have spent the past two decades surrounded by the music, dance, and traditional arts created by the community, and these art forms are a major inspiration in my own art and music.
All of my prints are hand-pulled, meaning I print them by hand instead of with a printing press. This also means that each print is unique and will not be exactly what is pictured. I review each one, but please don't hesitate to contact me if you are not happy with your print. I use the Iron Frog Press Print Frog Glass Barens, which you can find here, Caligo Safe Wash Relief inks, which you can find here and here, for all of my linocut prints. Depending on the size of the print and number of layers, I use either kozo paper, Strathmore printmaking paper, or BFK Rives printmaking papers. I play all of the instruments heard on my recordings, including fiddle, tenor banjo, mandolin, accordion, guitar, and Irish bouzouki. I record using the Blue Yeti USB microphone, found here, and GarageBand. My project Grace Notes was featured in ArtPrize at the ArtRat Gallery in Grand Rapids, MI in 2022.
